The Gallery of Contemporary Art Pro Civitate Christian Assisi is located in the historic city center. The Gallery houses a collection that focuses on contemporary art and iconography of Jesus. The first group is formed by the acquisition of ancient and contemporary art photographs. Today the gallery has a total of 700 works of sculpture and paintings by contemporary artists and over 1300 graphics. Certainly of great interest are the artists Carlo Carra, Giorgio De Chirico, Franco Gentilini, Emilio Greek and many more. Among the most famous works we present the "Miserere" by Georges Rouault. The iconography section is composed of photographs of works subject to ancient and contemporary Christological. Finally, a small section collects infant drawings made in collaboration with researchers and photographers. The gallery hosts temporary exhibitions and educational activities for schools in particular.
