From 5 November to 25 January 2026
From November 5th in Asti, another unpublished exhibition, of great charm. We are talking about Paolo Conte and what he himself considers his most true and intimate artistic expression: painting.
The Fondazione Asti Musei presents, with Arthemisia, at Palazzo Mazzetti, the first major exhibition on the artworks of Paolo Conte, creations that span his entire life and are characterized by a powerful, poetic, and ironic figuration.
The exhibition "Paolo Conte. Original" is an unpublished and affectionate portrait of the artist from Asti, an icon of Italian singer-songwriters, who has cultivated for years an intimate and reserved passion for visual art, training as a painter and draftsman and maintaining a deep and continuous relationship with the image. His world takes shape through colors, lines, abstractions, and figurative suggestions that lead the viewer into the heart of the same poetic universe as his songs: melancholic, jazzy, elegant, and surreal. The exhibition is not only a tribute to his multifaceted figure, but also a rare opportunity to discover the most visual and secret side of an immense artist.
The exhibition is organized by the Fondazione Asti Musei in collaboration with Arthemisia, and curated by Manuela Furnari.
