Leon Löwentraut was born in 1998 in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and grew up in Düsseldorf. He has been passionate about painting ever since he was a child and soon created his own distinctive style. His paintings, which are intense in color and brimming with energy, quickly garnered international attention. Leon Löwentraut’s works are expressive, powerful, and instantly recognizable. Dynamic lines, brilliant colors, and a hint of street art serve to combine classic painting subjects and a contemporary attitude. Thematically, his works deal with social issues such as freedom, individuality, and global responsibility.
Today, Leon Löwentraut is one of the best-known young artists in the German-speaking area, making waves in the art world with his expressive, uncompromising style and excellent media skills.
His “Olympia” series deals with topics such as energy, sweat, doubt, courage, hope, passion, discipline, and inspiration. Like the original project, “Sport Meets Art,” where top athletes inspired Leon Löwentraut, this series is a tribute to the spirit of a champion.
