The museum preserves materials related to findings in the territory of the Municipality of Cingoli and to the excavations carried out in the 1980s in the area where there is now an artificial reservoir. The dating of the artifacts ranges from the Lower Paleolithic period, with a rich display of lithic artifacts, to the Roman Age, to which twelve lapidary inscriptions, fragments of statues, glass balsamaria, and coins refer. For the Bronze Age, in addition to a casting mold, several dagger blades and pottery, a wide range of tools made of deer horn are also highlighted.
