Sing me something like life, from a verse by Mario Luzi, is a gallery of portraits of over 70 poets of the twentieth century created by important contemporary photographers, selected from the collections of the Museum.

The exhibition is the result of an in-depth archive research, in light of the dialogue between poetry and photography, a theme that characterizes both the exhibition Oblique Writing and the festival Ubiqua (Villa Ghirlanda, September 11-14, 2025).

It is divided into two sections. The 50 original prints cover almost a century - from 1924, with the portrait of Majakovskij, to 2015, with Giovanni Gastel - and include figures such as Saba, Ungaretti, Montale, Quasimodo, Pasolini.

The video projection focuses on the images from the Agenzia Grazia Neri archive, created between the seventies and nineties, featuring faces such as Giorgio Caproni, Franco Loi, Mario Luzi, Alda Merini, Amelia Rosselli, among others.
