Roberto Casamonti collection

The Roberto Casamonti Collection is located in the historic heart of Florence , between Via Tornabuoni and Piazza Santa Trinità .

Set up on the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Bartolini Salimbeni , the Roberto Casamonti Collection is located in a palace with Renaissance architecture designed in 1520 by Baccio d'Agnolo.

In its rooms, the Collection houses the works that Roberto Casamonti has acquired in his long activity in the art world. The Collection aims to organize exhibitions and multidisciplinary events aimed at enhancing the dialogue between the arts.

The Collection is divided into two sections: the first includes works created from the beginning of the twentieth century until the sixties with artists such as Boccioni, Balla, Licini, Casorati, Magnelli, Morandi, Pirandello, Soldati, Burri, Bonalumi and so on. The second houses works from the seventies to the 2000s, here you can find Biasi, Boetti, Calzolari, Scarpitta, Boerri, Kounellis and many others.

Two exhibitions representing the entire collection alternate cyclically, in the first nucleus we encounter works by artists from the beginning of the twentieth century to the early sixties, the second chronologically begins with works from 1960 up to the present day.
