Genoa, 5 December 2023 - The art exhibition "40 years of illustrated Genoa: faces and goals at the tip of a pencil" by the cartoonist and passionate fan Marco Paravidino opens at the Genoa Museum on Friday 8 December at 1pm. The event marks a significant moment for the Genoa Foundation, pleased to be able to give value and space to the work of a local artist and to the world of illustrated football, which has always been a point of reference for sports news and much loved by fans. Among caricatures of the protagonists of the history of Genoa and comics that retrace the highlights of the Grifone matches, Marco Paravidino expresses his innate ability to tell stories through drawing.
The artist, known for his mastery in the world of comics, has created a body of work that celebrates not only his passion for Genoa, but also his ability to capture the essence and beauty of football through his particular artistic style. “I started showing my works on my YouTube channel almost for fun” - says the artist Marco Paravidino - “today, inaugurating an exhibition at the Genoa Museum is truly an indescribable emotion for me” - he concludes.
The Genoa Museum invites all Griffin lovers, art enthusiasts and the local community to closely observe the artist's works displayed in the exhibition, which will remain open until 30 April 2024.
