On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00, Imola Musei inaugurates the exhibition "On Display. Art Gifts to the Civic Collections", hosted in the exhibition spaces of the San Domenico Museum and open to the public until March 15, 2026.

The exhibition, curated by Oriana Orsi - art historian and curator of Imola Musei - presents about forty works that have arrived at the museums in recent years thanks to direct donations or bequests.

These are heterogeneous works that reflect the richness and variety of private collections: from Renaissance plates to nineteenth-century paintings, from twentieth-century engravings and drawings to contemporary art works. Among the artists featured are Antonio Ciseri, Tommaso Della Volpe, Ercole Drei, Lanfranco Quadrio, and many others.
