From June 29, 2024 to July 28, 2024, the Viscontea Tower will host the exhibition "Urbem et suburbium" by the artist Jonathan Guaitamacchi.

The exhibition "Urbem et suburbium" by the artist Jonathan Guaitamacchi will open on Saturday, June 29, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecco and the Urban Museum System of Lecco, included in the 2024 Exhibitions program of the Municipality of Lecco.

The exhibition, curated by Francesca Brambilla and Francesca Venini, is sponsored by the Order of Architects of the Province of Lecco.

Through a selection of mixed media works, the artist Jonathan Guaitamacchi offers the public a profound reflection on the nature of the built environment and the human experiences that inhabit it.

The internationally recognized artist's paintings are metaphors of reality captured on canvas through a constant dichromatism between black and white: visions constructed through a language that moves between painting and architecture, metropolitan views, bird's eye perspectives, urban landscapes, and panoramas.
