The show

Saturday 22 April the photographic exhibition " XTREMES: NORTH Greenland – Baffin Island - SOUTH Patagonia " opens in Torre Viscontea, promoted on the occasion of the Monte Sorgenti review and created by CAI Lecco , Cassin section.

An exploration to the extremes of the planet: from Greenland and Baffin Island to Argentine and Chilean Patagonia, through the incredible shots of Matteo della Bordella and his partner Arianna Colliard , anthropologist, mountaineer and video maker.

The exhibition recounts Della Bordella's latest mountaineering expeditions and consists of over 60 photographs, which on the one hand capture the extreme environment and the vertical walls faced during his climbs, and on the other offer a cultural and social insight into the places crossed . The story of incredible journeys is born, which combine mountaineering research with a profound cultural reflection .

The exhibition was curated by Arianna Colliard and Gabriele Accornero.
