From 31 March to 3 April 2022
Casa degli Artisti and THAT'S CONTEMPORARY present Forever by Patrick Tuttofuoco (Milan, 1974), a project produced by UNFRAMED 721 , born in dialogue with Umberto Sebastiano , with the artistic direction of Martina Grendene, Giulia Restifo and Jessica Tanghetti, from 31 March to 3 April 2022 at the Casa degli Artisti in Milan .
Forever is the first NFT project created by Patrick Tuttofuoco. It was born from the artist's reflection on the Non-Fungible-Token as a new medium for the expression of his own artistic research. Originating from the interest in the theme of the experience of time, already investigated by the artist, Forever reflects on a new space-time dimension, in which the body of the work, and the fruition itself, become dematerialized while maintaining a character of uniqueness , inherent in Non-Fungible-Token. The idea is to strive for infinity, to go beyond material boundaries, creating a new field of action that produces and at the same time transcends the existence of the work.
Patrick Tuttofuoco's reflections are enriched by the dialogue with the writer Umberto Sebastiano and the artist's reworking of one. suggestion taken from the novel The world will end at night by Umberto Sebastiano (Nutrimenti publishing house, out in May 2022). The visual rendering of this survey, represented by the work Forever, will be presented during the press preview on March 30, where present the artist Patrick Tuttofuoco, UNFRAMED 721, THAT'S CONTEMPORARY and the heads of the artistic direction of the project.
During the preview, the live minting of the project will be carried out, thanks to which the digital work will become in effect an NFT.
