The exhibition "So it is, if it appears to us" can be visited until May 3rd from Wednesday to Friday from 11 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm; on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays continuously from 11 am to 7 pm. Entrance fee: 10 euros (reduced 5 euros), with discounts for residents of the province of Modena (7 euros). The reduction also applies to those who have a ticket to the Figurine Museum or another Ago exhibition. Free entrance for everyone on the first Sunday of the month, and for residents every Wednesday, as per the tradition of the Ago Foundation. 

The exhibition spans thirty years of research by the Genoese artist, now active in Berlin, presenting also unpublished and site-specific works, and inviting the visitor to lose their certainties to rediscover light not just as a visual medium, but as a material capable of sculpting the invisible. For example, the experience begins with a mirror in which it is impossible to reflect oneself, but which shows other people who are currently reflecting themselves, and with small sculptures whose shadows, with skillful light management, return different images: a chess pawn appears to be a horse, the attack of a light bulb takes on the forms of a snail.

The exhibition, explains the artist, invites the viewer to an active role in constructing the meaning of the works and to reflect on the nature of the image and the fragility of what we define as "real", letting themselves be lulled by an atmosphere of suspension destined to remain imprinted well beyond the visit.
