"The Rediscovered Beauty - A shot for hope" was born in Kilis, a Turkish town on the border with Syria, where thousands of Syrians live marginalized with no prospect for the future. Charley Fazio met the refugee children and asked them to look for “beauty” through the lens of an instant camera.
The moving and delicate shots allow you to virtually enter the atmosphere in which children in exile live, to touch their misery and yet to concretely perceive the profound dignity that animates them.
The traveling exhibition is linked to the activity of the Joy for Children APS Association , of which Fazio is president, engaged with support projects in favor of the minors involved in the exhibition.
After eight Italian cities, including Milan, Turin and Naples, the exhibition arrives in Palermo under the patronage of the Mayor and the University of Palermo, promoted by the V Council Commission and the Week of Cultures Association and is part of the program of the event now in its eighth edition and dedicated to Prof. Sebastiano Tusa.
