The show

From 24 September 2021 to 28 November 2021, the Palazzo Magnani Foundation brings the eclectic style of the internationally renowned illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli to the exhibition spaces of the Cloisters of San Pietro, as told by the exhibition CALEIDOSCOPICA. The illustrated world of Olimpia Zagnoli, curated by Melania Gazzotti. After having conquered the world of publishing, fashion and communication in just a few years, Olimpia Zagnoli returns to Reggio Emilia, the city of her childhood, with an exhibition project capable of enhancing the innumerable facets of her work and the ability of lines and colors of his figures, landscapes, geometries, to offer always new stimuli to the imagination. KALEIDOSCOPIC. The illustrated world of Olimpia Zagnoli traces ten years of the illustrator's career showing her unmistakable trait declined in drawings, prints, neon, fabrics, sculptures in ceramic, wood and Plexiglas and everyday objects.

The exhibition demonstrates how this artist is able to express herself with the same ease with the languages of the visual arts and with those of design and publishing, recounting the complexity of the artist's creative universe and its sources in an immersive environment. of inspiration, ranging from the history of art to that of design and graphics.
