Operative Contemporary Art

Operativa Arte Contemporanea is an artistic project based in Rome born in 2013 aimed at supporting the Italian contemporary scene.

Far from being a commercial gallery, Operativa Arte Contemporanea is an open platform dedicated to young avant-gardes . She has been involved since its inception in exhibitions, publications and outdoor projects with museums and public spaces. Together with the activities carried out in the spaces of the gallery in via del Consolato in Rome, Operativa tries to create boundaries and connections between the research of young artists and the institutional context.

Among the main partners: Nomas Foundation, Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Manifesta 12, MAXXI Foundation, MACRO, Musei Bilotti and Fondazione per l'Arte with various projects at the IX Municipio Mandrione and at the Church of Santa Rita, a multifunctional space inaugurated in 2004 by the Division of Cultural policies.

Thanks to the partnership with publishers and art magazines Operativa Arte Contemporanea has also created numerous editions of artists, books, catalogs, art graphics and musical products such as vinyls and others. Among his partners: NERO, Yard Press, Arte e Critica, Inside Art and Mousse.
