SPONTANEOUS ANATOMIES

Curated by Paola Farfaglio and Benedetta Carpi De Resmini

On January 9, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm, the exhibition Parentesi by TWM Factory (via Giuseppe Arimondi 3, Rome) will open the exhibition Spontaneous Anatomies, open for visits from January 10 to 23, 2026. The project brings together works created during 2025 within the paths of Anatomies of Nutrition, promoted by Cities Art Projects, and Roots and Routes, created by Latitudo Art Projects within the European platform Magic Carpets. The curators bring together research that addresses the theme of food as a cultural act, an identity symbol, and a space of relationships, recalling what arises on the margins, between imagination and life.

The artists Caretto–Spagna present ESCULENTA, a table-device that makes visible the continuous cycle of consumption, regeneration, and regrowth of cabbages. Divided into three sections, preparation, revitalization, and regrowth, the setup allows observing the metamorphosis of plant matter over the exhibition period.

Gaia and Greta Scaramella showcase the results of the milk workshops held at the Saxa Rubra school. Gaia presents Milk, a work on milk as primary nourishment, a meditation on the importance of care, also recalling the conditions of children in the absence of milk in war contexts; Greta offers a series of milk fables, symbolic stories dedicated to the involved children.
