From 19 October to 18 November 2010
Elvio Chiricozzi's speech for the Volume! Foundation joins the Doppio Passo exhibition, i.e. the meetings organized by the Casa delle Letterature relating to the world of art and literature.
Here then, in the Foundation, "What does not change" takes shape, the union between the images created by Chiricozzi with the words and verses of Marco Lodoli and Mariangela Gualtieri.
The protagonists of the scene are the birds: flocks of black birds made of paper and superimposed on each other, unfold in flight on the walls in a continuous undulating movement, until arriving at the image of a boy sitting on an invisible support and placed in an indefinite space.
The themes addressed by the artist are those of human omnipotence, instinct, the dreamlike dimension and panicking adolescence.
