Established on the initiative of the Graziadei Law Firm with the aim of promoting the work of young photographers and supporting them over time, the Prize became part of the MAXXI photographic program in 2019.

The Prize is structured as a competition open to photographers under 35 and, from 2012 to the present day, over 50 photographs by 11 authors, briefly documented on the entrance wall, have become part of the MAXXI Collection. The exhibition also includes a selection of works by past winners Andrea Botto, Alessandro Calabrese, The Cool Couple, Rachele Maistrello, Francesco Neri, Luca Nostri, Pietro Paolini, Luca Spano, Alba Zari.
