From 19 September to 31 December 2025
In conjunction with the 1st day of the 2025 Philosophy Festival, the exhibition dedicated to the works of Andrea Mastrovito, "Seven Rooms," will open at the Ducal Palace of Sassuolo.
This solo exhibition, curated by Francesca Disconzi and promoted by Marca Corona in collaboration with Gallerie Estensi, will feature various creations that have distinguished the artist's career over the years:
from the Encyclopedia of Garden Flowers with new installations; to the large mosaic on wood "MCm - Least Common Multiple," an unpublished work from the Marca Corona for Art project; to the new works created specifically for the exhibition at the Ducal Palace, inspired by elements of the sky and water.
Open from September 19th with free admission on Saturday, September 20th, and Sunday, September 21st, the exhibition becomes part of the collateral program of the 2025 Philosophy Festival, a widespread event dedicated to the dissemination of philosophical knowledge and wisdom, which this year also includes cultural partners such as museums, galleries, and other artistic-historical venues.
But let's delve into the initiative at the Ducal Palace in more detail, the works it will host, and the art of Andrea Mastrovito, who recently won the competition to create the "Lamb of God (Agnus Dei)" that will characterize the cross of the tower of Jesus at the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
