The Fondation Bemberg is an art foundation of Toulouse. It is located inside the Hotel Assezat, a 16th century hotel particulier (private residence). Inside there is a rich private art collection of the Argentine collector and art lover Georges Bemberg, who lent his works to the municipality of Toulouse so that they could be accessible to a larger public. The Foundation, in addition to being a museum that can be visited, also offers cultural activities related to the history and knowledge of art. The collection consists of paintings, drawings, sculptures and art objects from the Renaissance and modern times. The museum has 14 thematic rooms, including the Venetian room, dedicated to Venetian works of the eighteenth century, where it is possible to see works by Canaletto and Tiepolo; and the Modern room, with works from the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist period, where it is possible to admire works by artists such as Monet, Renoir, Sisley, Sérusier, Gauguin, Cézanne.
