From October 31, 2025, the OGR Torino, the hub of the Fondazione CRT, present WE FELT A STAR DYING by the French artist Laure Prouvost, the collective ELECTRIC DREAMS. Art & Technology Before the Internet, and the installation DRUMMING FOR LOVE by the Kosovar artist Erzë Dinarama, three exhibitions that intertwine artistic research and technological innovation, strengthening the OGR's mission as a center for interdisciplinary production and experimentation.
The exhibition Laure Prouvost. WE FELT A STAR DYING, curated for LAS by Carly Whitefield and at the OGR by Samuele Piazza, presented for the first time in February 2025 at Kraftwerk in Berlin, arrives at Track 1 of the former workshops in a new configuration that interacts with the architecture and its history. Visit until May 10, 2026, the installation, the result of collaboration between the artist, the philosopher Tobias Rees, and the scientist Hartmut Neven, founder of Google Quantum AI, explores quantum computing through a multisensory experience of images, sounds, and scents.
ELECTRIC DREAMS. Art & Technology Before the Internet, curated by Val Ravaglia and Samuele Piazza, arrives at Track 2 and will be open to the public until May 10, 2026. The exhibition traces over forty years of artistic experimentation at the crossroads between visual art and technology, before the widespread diffusion of the Internet, through the work of artists who have explored technological modernity, appropriating tools born in military or corporate contexts to redefine collective imaginaries and stimulate critical thinking.
