After the FIRST RESONANCE dedicated to light, color, time, from April 16, 2025 the SECOND RESONANCE starts to explore this time the themes related to rhythm, structure, and sign, through an extensive exhibition program that involves all the spaces of the GAM.

The exhibitions Fausto Melotti. Let me have fun!, a wide anthology curated by Chiara Bertola and Fabio Cafagna, which retraces the entire production of the artist 53 years after the historic exhibition that the Museum hosted in 1972, and Alice Cattaneo. Where space calls the sign, which, through a visual and conceptual research on the process of growth and transformation, presents a series of works dedicated to the passage between matter and form, between potential and fulfillment.

The exhibition program of the SECOND RESONANCE continues with a project dedicated to the films of the artist Giosetta Fioroni and hosted in the space of the GAM Videoteca that preserves the original films in 8 mm, donated by the artist in 1999.

Also for this second stage, there are interventions by an "intruder", with the aim of offering visitors unexpected readings and stimulating new interpretations. The two curators and sound artists Chiara Lee and freddie Murphy - in collaboration with the MAO Museum of Oriental Art in Turin, for which they have been curating the public program Evolving Soundscapes for about 3 years - have invited the Sakha artist Aldana Duoraan to create a site-specific sound intervention that transforms the museum's staircase interstices into a musical instrument.

In addition to the temporary exhibitions, the public has the opportunity to explore the expansion of the permanent Collections, with a new installation on the first floor inspired by the themes of the SECOND RESONANCE.

The Collections inaugurated last October and the Living Deposit remain open for visits, offering the public a view of a large number of works from the artistic heritage of the GAM.
