One hundred years after the passing of Margherita di Savoia, the exhibition invites the visitor to retrace the memory of a figure who deeply marked the history, imagination, and cultural landscape of Piedmont.

Promoted by the Committee "In the footsteps of Margherita" and realized with the support of the Monterosa Valsesia Consortium, through the Art. 21 Grant of the Piedmont Region, the project stems from the desire to give back to the public the historical and human profile of the Queen, reinterpreting her legacy in the light of contemporary sensibility.

The exhibition path unfolds through photographic images, documents, scientific instruments, testimonies, and cultural productions that engage history and territory, guiding the visitor to discover the deep connection between Margherita di Savoia and Monte Rosa.

The mountain, a place she loved and frequented, is transformed in this narrative into a symbol of memory, contemplation, and identity, a silent guardian of a presence still alive in the local culture.

The exhibition thus offers a journey between past and present, where the figure of the Queen emerges not only as a protagonist of national history, but as a presence capable of intertwining landscape, collective memory, and cultural heritage.
