A horizontal line runs across the entire pictorial surface, achieved with pumice, marble dust, and plaster. The painting, granular and textured, is divided into two areas crossed by rapid sequences of graphemes, incised with strength and full of a strong gestural charge. The dense and discontinuous but still connected strokes reveal the underlying colors: an anthracite gray in the lower part and an intense orange in the upper part.
