Engulfed by the loss of the center and the impactful effect of gestural painting, Vedova feels the urgency of expressing the projection of that other which becomes the thing in itself. Between the slashes of the spatula and the strokes of the brush, the colors undergo oscillations and repercussions that aim to make us perceive the epochal anguish of the post-war period, that scream of the soul that is expressed through convulsive marks and traces.
