From 8 November to 23 February 2025
The Municipality of Brescia, the Brescia Museums Foundation, and the Festival of Peace present The Season of Migration to the North, the solo exhibition of the Sudanese artist, curator, and activist Khalid Albaih (Bucharest, Romania, 1980).
The exhibition, curated by Elettra Stamboulis, will be open to the public from Friday, November 8, 2024, to Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the spaces of the Museum of Santa Giulia in Brescia.
With The Season of Migration to the North, the Brescia Museums Foundation continues the narrative journey of the contemporary through art started in 2019, in a path that invites some of the most significant voices of the international art scene to bring their reflections to the spaces of the Museum of Santa Giulia in Brescia. Contemporary art and human rights meet within the initiative, aimed at creating a point of synthesis for dissident artists and activists generally undervalued in the official art market, but often known through the network or in the broad world of those who still dare to have a critical voice on the present and imagine a future.
