The evocative art with an international scope by Paolo Mayol lands at the Tuscolano-Scuderie Aldobrandini Museum in Frascati (piazza Marconi 6), where the sculptor will hold the exhibition "The rites of time: peace" from September 9 to 21, 2025. The opening, scheduled for Tuesday, September 9 at 5 pm, will be accompanied by greetings from local authorities and a critical presentation by Franco Campegiani. The exhibition, promoted by MUSA directed by Alfredo Moraci and sponsored by the Municipality of Frascati with the support of Mayor Francesca Sbardella and councilor Matteo Filipponi, is organized in collaboration with Casa delle Culture and Laboratorio Calcografico San Nilo. The exhibition will be open for visits from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 7 pm, with closure on Mondays.
The 84 works on display at MUSA, including sculptures, paintings, bas-reliefs, and engravings, trace an immersive journey into Mayol's poetic. "Window on the horizon," as a key example, narrates war and the fragility of human life, with lead and copper airplanes brushing against a multicolored sky, symbolizing the diversity of peoples. Mayol's art transforms drama into reflection: every detail - a bird's tail, a suspended fish - is a metaphor for how even in the most difficult situations, life continues, manifold and resilient.
