From May 29 to June 14, 2026, as part of the cultural project “Immagimondo. Viaggi, luoghi, culture”, Les Cultures APS will carry out a series of initiatives dedicated to Palestine.

Among these, in collaboration with Si.M.U.L. and the Municipality of Lecco, there will be an exhibition on the ground floor of the Palazzo delle Paure in Lecco featuring a selection of images from the photographic reportage “Activestilles: documenting life, death and resistance in Palestine” promoted by the collective “Prospekt Palestine Project”.

The exhibition, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lecco and the Urban Museum System of Lecco, is part of the exhibition program of the Municipality of Lecco 2026 and will be inaugurated on Friday, May 29, at 6 pm, in the conference room of the Palazzo delle Paure.

The project aims to pay tribute to Palestinian photographers working in the field who, despite the risks and horrors, continue to document what is happening, and to demand justice for all colleagues who have been killed (more than 260 to date), attacked, arrested in these two years of conflict.

Among the themes on display are Gaza Strip before and after October 7, 2023, massacres, escapes, hospitals, life, death, suffering, and resistance; the West Bank and the attempted ethnic cleansing carried out with the help of settlers, with the destruction of homes, crops, violence, and the role of the army; the Nakba and the depopulation of 1948, with 530 cities, villages, and neighborhoods destroyed.

The event will see the participation of photographers from Prospekt Agency Samuele Pellecchia, Pietro Masturzo, and Francesco Giusti together with Mohammed Alzanoon, one of the five Palestinian photographers who are the authors of the exhibited works.
