Istituto Svizzero presents “Sequoia 07” , Alfredo Aceto 's first solo show in Milan.

For the artist, art is a pop game and each work is conceived as a generic object, equivalent a priori to any other. Starting from this premise, the exhibition is conceived as a collage that temporarily puts these objects together, transforming them into a game of memory and desire.

The title of the exhibition itself plays with the concept of collage. Aceto evokes a memory of his childhood or a story told by his grandmother: the story of some young people escorted - through a tunnel of trees - by a woman on a white horse with Sequoia, her favorite car model, a 2007 Toyota.
