The art of mechanical thinking is the next solo exhibition by the artist Donato Piccolo, curated by Lorenzo Respi, promoted by Fondazione Ago Modena Fabbriche Culturali as part of the Unesco Media Arts program, from May 30 to August 24, 2025 at Palazzo Santa Margherita.

A journey that unfolds between art, science, and technology, in which nature and the artificial dialogue, merge, and question each other. The works, animated by electronic devices, robotics, and artificial intelligence, transform the exhibition experience into a direct encounter with moving matter, where each installation reveals a lively tension between body and machine, nature and perception. A unique opportunity to explore the approach of Donato Piccolo, one of the protagonists of the international contemporary art scene.
