Unlike Gordon's famous large-scale immersive projections, the installation - in an encyclopedic key - evokes a private video archive and simultaneously offers an in-depth analysis of the themes that characterize his works.

Gordon's film work, presented in this sculptural form, allows for a free and non-hierarchical view of individual works: iconic pieces like 24 Hour Psycho (1993), Play Dead; Real Time (2003), and new films like The End of Civilisation (2012) or the more recent three-channel work Silence, Exile, Deceit: an industrial pantomime (2013).
