From 25 October to 14 January 2024
Protagonist of Italian pictorial research, Marco Tamburro has created a series of works specifically for this exhibition; by aggregating swirling and discontinuous gestures, he has built a network of information, sensations and fragments that combine to define our time, characterized by dynamism and contradictions.
In the composition of the paintings the artist seeks the coexistence of different temporalities, re-elaborating ideas and meanings and reflecting on multiple themes such as everyday life, the alienating mechanisms of contemporaneity, time, the metropolis.
Reflection of a fluid modernity that looks to the past, it is precisely the city that represents the main source of inspiration: consumed, crossed by infinite trajectories, dominated by buildings and skyscrapers, it is represented as a carousel, a dreamy expression of a contemporary circus.
