On Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM, the vernissage of the solo exhibition of the artist Axel Becker will take place at the exhibition hall of the Crocetti Museum in Rome. The event is curated by Anna Isopo and Romana Becker with a presentation by the art historian Martina Scavone.

Axel Becker returns to the Capital with a new exhibition titled "Movement," hosted in a particularly significant location for the artist: the museum born from the expansion of the studio belonging to the Italian sculptor Venanzo Crocetti, to whom Becker has chosen to dedicate the main work titled "Ballerina - Homage to Crocetti." Remaining faithful to his stylistic signature, characterized by a strongly minimalist language that translates both in terms of color and form, Axel Becker uses art to respond to the chaotic mix of stimuli and information with which contemporary society is constantly bombarded, where consumerism is an integral part of daily life. The result is artistically sophisticated works, capable of focusing the viewer's attention on a few essential elements. In addition to the sculptural production, the exhibition also includes a series of paintings where the minimalist language merges with the pop style.

Born in 1965, Axel Becker is a German painter and sculptor. He has qualified for international Art Biennials in London, Milan, Florence, Chianciano, and Austria, and participated for the first time in the 2022 59th Venice Art Biennale. In addition to the Venanzo Crocetti Museum Foundation, his works are present in museums, public and private collections, and galleries around the world.
