From 7 November to 8 December 2025
The National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, in collaboration with INTERNI Magazine and Corepla, hosts TAM TAM. Temple, Action, Movement, an installation signed by Alvisi Kirimoto.
Following the success at the Interni Cre-Action Exhibition-Event (7-17 April 2025) set up in the courtyards of the University of Milan during the Milan Design Week, the international studio Alvisi Kirimoto brings the installation TAM TAM. Temple, Action, Movement to Rome, created by Corepla, the National Consortium for the Collection, Recycling, and Recovery of Plastic Packaging.
From November 7th to December 8th, 2025, the artwork will be on display in the Central Courtyard of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. The inauguration will take place during the presentation of the special issue of the magazine Interni dedicated to the Capital titled "Rome, eternal change".
With a base of 6x6 meters and a height of 5, the installation consists of six columns of different diameters, translating the classical principles of firmitas, utilitas, and venustas into a dynamic device, where the columns - traditionally symbols of stability - become movable elements that the public can move and rearrange. A collective ritual that becomes a tangible metaphor for the mutability of human relationships.
