The exhibition "The Colors of Light and Darkness," a solo show by the artist Mario Moronti from Rieti, will be inaugurated on Wednesday, August 14th at 7 pm at Forte Santa Tecla.

Curated by Francesco Miroglio and Filippo Masri, the exhibition is organized in collaboration with the University of Genoa and the AdAC - Archive of Contemporary Art.

The exhibition traces over fifty years of Moronti's artistic activity, exploring his connection with the Ligurian territory and offering a journey through the different phases of his research and the moments that have marked his production, such as the visit to the coal mines of the Ruhr that transformed his relationship with light and color.

The exhibition also provides a reflection on the dialogue between Moronti's work and the German abstract art movement, a connection that has helped define the uniqueness of his expressive language.

The exhibition will be open for visits from August 14th to October 5th, 2025.
