With the exhibition Dolomites. A protected landscape, the Stanze della Fotografia host an intense visual and narrative journey dedicated to one of the most extraordinary mountain landscapes in the world, visible on the first floor from December 2, 2025, until January 6, 2026. The project originates from the book of the same name published by Marsilio Arte, with mountain photographs by Manuel Cicchetti and texts by Antonio G. Bortoluzzi, offering a deep and contemporary look at the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage mountains. Manuel Cicchetti's shots represent the visual heart of this story. His attentive and respectful gaze captures not only the grandeur of the Dolomite panoramas but also the signs of human presence: a path carved into the rock, a house nestled in the valley, a high mountain road. His mountain photographs, created with care and sensitivity, reveal the delicate harmony between the work of time and that of man, between persistence and transformation, in the breath of the seasons. Each shot tells the profound relationship between the work of time and that of man, in the slow rhythm of the seasons and the breath of altitudes. It is an exhibition of mountain photography that invites you to pause, observe, and rediscover the beauty of limits and the wonder of measure. Dolomites. A protected landscape is the third chapter of the Marsilio Arte series dedicated to the UNESCO sites of Veneto, following The Hills of Prosecco of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and Venice and its lagoon. The series and the exhibition share a common intent: to propose a new, emotional, and conscious narrative of the territory, capable of awakening in the public that sense of wonder and responsibility that arises only from authentic love for places.
