Often these models are dressed in a bizarre way, with extravagantly styled clothes and hats , or they pose like painters, like the young man portrayed in the Carrara canvas, which is one of the masterpieces of this particular production. The bold attitude of the young painter, who proudly rests his left hand on his hip and holds the straw with chalk in his right, and the innocence of his gaze give us the image of a living person.
