Ducal Palace of Gubbio

Renaissance building commissioned by Federico da Montefeltro and built by the architect Francesco di Giorgio Martini. Inside there is a replica of Federico's study (whose wooden apparatus is in the Metropolitan Museum in New York), some original furnishings, a collection of pictorial works (13th-18th century), the vestiges of medieval structures; on the upper floors the winning works of the Gubbio Biennale of Contemporary Art are visible. The Palace has hosted exhibitions (including: Light Art, part of the Lightquake 2017 project, until 25 February 2017; Giuseppe Magni and the majolica of Historicism, until 20 May 2018; Fantastic Middle Ages; Imbilico. Perpetua motus terra), events (such as Palazzo Ducale Wedding), courses (such as historical fencing), educational workshops. Federico's flames inspired a line of leather goods dedicated to the Palazzo da Vodivì.

In March 2018, the permanent exhibition of the Eight Tablets by Taddeo di Bartolo was inaugurated.
