From 7 November to 25 January 2026
Jonida Laçi (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna) and Luīze Nežberte (University of Applied Arts Vienna) will be presented in a joint exhibition in November 2025 at the Kunsthalle Wien Karlsplatz.
The Kunsthalle Wien Prize aims to support emerging artists living and working in Vienna and to promote discourse on contemporary art through an annual collaboration with the two Viennese art universities. The prize, jointly awarded by the Kunsthalle Wien, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the University of Applied Arts Vienna , is awarded by an expert jury to one graduate from each of the two art universities. The aim of the prize, now in its eleventh edition, is to support graduates shortly after completion of their studies, to present their work to a wide audience, and to bridge the gap between their studies and their professional artistic career.
The two selected artists will receive an exhibition at the Kunsthalle including a publication with texts by Mirela Baciak and Chris Clarke, as well as a prize of €3,000 each.
