From September 6th to October 31st, the Nord Ovest Naturae exhibition, linked to the homonymous photographic competition organized by the Stile Libero Association, WWFOasi and Protected Areas of Piedmont, Oasis and ATL of Biellese, and included in the Selvatica Arte e Natura in Festival event held in Biella between April and July last year, can be visited at the Treasure Museum of the Vercelli Cathedral.

The exhibition presents the 20 winners of the photographic competition, now in its sixth edition, rewarding the best images taken in the territories of Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, and Valle d'Aosta. These photographs are the result of the dedication, patience, and commitment of Italian amateur, amateur, and professional photographers. It is an opportunity to discover and appreciate the nature and diverse environments that characterize the northwest of Italy. The contest included 4 sections focused on different environments: "Mountain," "Hill," "Plain," and "Lake and Sea." A fifth section was added, "Grand Prix Parco del Ticino," dedicated to the park of the same name. Nearly 90 photographers participated in the competition, submitting around 800 images from which the winners were selected by the jury composed of Fabrizio Lava, Photographer and Director of the Stilelibero Association and curator of Selvatica (photography section), Luca Guzzo, photographer of the Stilelibero Association, Maurizio Tentarelli, external relations manager of Rivista OASIS, Fabrizio Bottelli, director of the Botanical Garden of Oropa, and they met on June 2, 2024.

The exhibition is open until October 31, 2024, during the museum's opening hours. The entrance fee is included in the museum ticket.
